A common problem faced by women at some point or the other in their lives is thinning hair. The reasons for hair loss are many: stress, post pregnancy symptoms, hormonal problems are some of them. At times thinning of hair may even be an inherited condition.

Massage Your Scalp

A good massage stimulates the pores on your scalp and improves the blood circulation under your hair follicles, assisting in further hair growth. So, try to massage your scalp for at least 15 minutes every day.

Avoid Shampoos Containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

Used as a degreasing agent in many hair shampoos, sodium lauryl sulphate is mainly used to lift up the dirt and oil on your scalp. However, shampoos containing it are best avoided as it is quite potent and eventually will damage the growth of your hair. It is best to check the contents on the packaging before making your purchase.

Opt for Volumizing Products

Many volume building hair products contain paraffin which can have damaging effects and result in hair breakage. If thinning hairis a serious problem for you, it is best to choose volumizing products that give better strength and support for your hair follicles and prevent severe hair fall.
